  • Suresah –The Lord of the Devas; One who is best among those who fulfill all the desires of the devotees.
  • Saranam – Refuge for all who are suffering in life; He is the ultimate Home.
  • Sarma – One who is ever in bliss; Satchidaananda
  • Visvaretah – The Lord is the seed from which the whole life has come
  • Prajaabhavah – He from which all living creatures have spring forth.

AHAH SAMVATSARO VYAALAH PRATYAYAH SARVADARSANAH

AHAH: Ahan has got two meanings. It means 24-hour day. It also means 12-hour day- time. What does 24 hour day mean? Day is unit of time. One who is the nature of time itself is Ahah, the Supreme Lord. 12-hour day-time means: Day time always refers to light. He is the one, ever effulgent and bright. The daylight illumines everything around. Similarly, the light of the Lord illumines our mind and our thoughts. Ahah also means ‘one who does not ever destroy the devotees who have surrendered to Him’.

SAMVATSARAH: One who is the nature of year (for example we say this year as ‘virodhi naama samvatsara’) – One who is the Lord of time. He is the origin of time.

VYAALAH: The Lord who is unapproachable is a Vyaalah. Vyaalaa also means ‘serpent’. Those who have no devotion or understanding, God or Truth is as horrible or terrible as a serpent. It is difficult to grasp in our understanding that It is like a serpent; ever eluding, always slippery.

PRATYAYAH: One whose very nature is knowledge. Without the light of the consciousness, no knowledge is possible. One of the Mahaavaakyaas is ‘Prajnaanam Brahma’ – which means ‘Awareness is knowledge’. He is the one awareness everywhere.

SARVADARSANAH: The Lord is ‘All-seeing’. Since He is the one awareness everywhere and in everyone, He is ‘Sarvadarsanah’. Bhagavad Gita says: “One who has eyes and heads everywhere; hands and feet everywhere”.
