Namaskar Mahatmas!
A recap:
Ateendriyah – One who cannot be perceived through the sense organs
Mahaamayah – One who is the supreme master of Maayaa
Mahotsaahah – One who sustains the wonderful world with endless enthusiasm
Mahaabalah – One who has Supreme Strength; He being the source of all strength is Supreme.
MAHABUDDHIR-MAHAA-VEERYO-MAHAA-SAKTIR MAHAA-DYUTIH
MAHABUDDHIH:
The Lord functioning through the intellect is the intelligence. The quality and quantity of the intelligence will depend upon the condition of the ‘intellect’ through which the Lord comes to play. A musician, a poet, a scientist, a mathematician, or politicians – all are different play of the talents invoked from the Supreme Intelligence. Maha Vishnu, the Self is called the Mahaabuddhih, the Reservoir of all Intelligence. Wherever there is strength, glory and intelligence it is the Vibhuti of the Lord.
MAHAVEERYAH:
One who is the Supreme Essence. “Veerya” is the Essence behind all creative urges. The Lord is the very source of creativity and so He is the Mahaaveeryah.
MAHAASAKTIH:
He is the All-powerful. Power here means ‘the efficiency’. He is the power behind our desires, actions and also the knowledge. He being the power-house is a Mahaasaktih.
MAHAADYUTIH:
Dyuti means ‘Glow’, sobhaa. The Self is the illuminator of all including the source of light in the world namely the sun, the moon, the stars, fire etc. He is Self-effulgent. There is no need for a light to show its light. Scriptures extol Him as ‘light of lights’.
